Mahjong Connect is a tile-matching puzzle where you clear the board by removing pairs of identical tiles. It looks similar to Mahjong Solitaire, but pairs are matched by different rules: two tiles can be removed only if there is a clear line between them. This line must not pass through other tiles and can have no more than two turns. Because of this, a matching pair is not always playable just because both tiles are visible.
Empty spaces matter in Mahjong Connect. When you remove a pair, the spaces left behind can create new routes between other tiles. A pair that was blocked a moment ago may become available after one or two moves. To clear the board, you need to keep choosing matches that open the layout instead of only taking the first pair you see.
The Four Corners layout is split into four separate blocks with open space between them. This makes the gaps in the middle of the board important, because they can become useful routes between different parts of the layout. Check each block on its own, then look across the open center for pairs that can connect from one corner to another.
Your goal is to clear the board by matching identical tiles. Click one tile, then click another tile with the same symbol.
The two tiles can be removed only if you can connect them with one, two, or three straight lines. The connection must go through empty space and cannot pass through other tiles.
There are a few valid ways to connect two tiles:

Two identical tiles can be removed when they are next to each other. This works even if the tiles are in the middle of the board.

If you can draw one straight line between two identical tiles, you can remove the pair.

A pair can also be removed if the connection consists of two straight segments. This means the path makes one right-angle turn and does not pass through other tiles.

A three-line connection is also valid. The path has three straight segments, and each segment must run through empty space.

A pair cannot be removed if the connection needs four or more lines. Remove other tiles first to open a shorter path.
Look for matching tiles near the edges of the board first. Edge tiles often have more open space around them, so they are easier to connect. Removing them can also open new paths toward the center of the layout.
Every pair you remove changes the board. The spaces left behind can create new connection paths between tiles that were blocked before. If you do not see a good move right away, check the board again after matching a pair.
If you cannot find a move, use the Hint
button. It will show one available pair on the board and help you continue the game.
If you clicked the wrong pair or want to try a different order, use Undo
to take back your last move. The board returns to its previous state, so you can choose another pair.
