It all started a few weeks ago, when someone on our team suddenly said, “Hey everyone, the 4th of July is coming up soon — wouldn’t it be great if we created a surprise for our players?”. And just like that, the hard work began.

We went through hundreds of sketches, including the Capitol Dome, the Liberty Bell, a proud Bald Eagle, and many more. Some of us even argued about which layouts had to be included in the new pack — there were some truly creative ones! In the end, we picked only the best of the best, and now you can enjoy them all.

The Independence Day Parade Begins

After late nights, countless coffee cups, and lots of test games, we did it: 11 brand-new layouts to celebrate Independence Day. So now, when you sit down with your favorite Mahjong game, you can match tiles shaped like the American Flag, Uncle Sam’s Hat, July 4th, Bison, and more. It’s just a small way for us to celebrate together with you.

By this point, we realized something: with so many layouts, it was getting tricky to find the newest ones. So we built a handy feature — a New Layouts category where you can quickly find the latest themed or holiday designs. Just click, pick, and play. It’s a small change, but it makes the whole site feel friendlier. It keeps things clear and organized, so you can focus on playing.

Finally, we swept out the digital cobwebs behind the scenes — a bit of site optimization here, a tiny speed boost there. So the next time you play, you might not see it, but you’ll feel it: faster, smoother, easier.
